Coffee Taste

As we’ve written in every previous article, coffee taste is probably the most important feature one coffee maker can provide. But, as you know, coffee taste doesn’t depend only on the coffee maker, and it depends on the type of coffee you’re using, your taste, and expectations.

Keurig K350, even here, has to offer more than you would expect. It doesn’t only brew coffee – it can make a whole variety of beverages, even the iced ones. The only thing that matters when choosing your next drink is if the pod contains Keurig’s logo. Thus, you can choose between chai, hot cocoa, tea, iced beverages, and more than 400 coffee varieties.

To sum it up: Keurig K350 2.0 Brewing Technology accepts only 2.0 K-cups and K-pods and other brands with the Keurig logo printed on the package. It’s important to remember that it’s not compatible with 1.0 K-cups and K-pods. These pods have lavender, grey, or white ring on the top of the pack.

Keurig K350 uses 2.0 technologies. If this sounds too hard to understand to you, think of it as an upgrade. You’re using Smartphone, which from time to time asks you to update apps you’re using to their latest version. The latest version of the What’s app wouldn’t work on some older smartphones.

The same goes with Keurig K350 – K-cups and K-pods made for 1.0 technology simply won’t work with it.

Ease of use (Interface and Programming)

It’s easy to use Keurig K350, as was the case with its predecessors. Keurig K350 version 2.0 comes with a simple black and white touch display. It aims to provide you almost any beverage you want (as long as it is compatible with the 2.0 Keurig brewing system) with only one touch of a button.

Also, it allows you to select your coffee strength and cup size – if you’re not brewing coffee, just select the hot cocoa/other button. The only consideration we have about interface and programming features is that it doesn’t have a memory option, so you need to browse the whole list of beverages each time you want to make some.

It’s important to know that minerals from tub water will break the machine. Thus, you need to use distilled water, bottled water, or some type of filtered water with the Keurig K350; it doesn’t matter whether it is a 1.0 or 2.0 version.

Also, Keurig K350 uses a filter that works only for two months. After that period, you need to change it. It doesn’t matter if you’ve used your coffee maker or not.

Capacity

Keurig K350 2.0 comes with a 60 ounces water reservoir capacity. When it comes to coffee, it’s enough to make up to 6 cups of coffee, which depends on the coffee strength you prefer. Also, you can choose between 6, 8, and 10 ounces cups, which is something we’ve already gotten used to getting from Keurig.

Design

This heavy coffee maker (it weighs 13.9 pounds) has a compact and elegant look. It’s mostly made of black plastic with some metal parts.

Carafe

Keurig K350 comes with 30 ounces carafe with an ergonomic handle. It’s a thermal carafe, and it can handle four little cups.

Features

As you can see, Keurig K350 comes with a lot of features. Simply said, the possibilities are endless.

There are some rumors online that you can’t make your own coffee with it, but that’s not true. All you need to do is purchase filter cups compatible with Keurig 2.0 technology, and you’re good to go.

Also, the drip tray and a base are removable, and the machine comes with a nice storage drawer.

Overall Performance

User experience, or let’s say, satisfaction with Keurig K350 2.0, varies a lot, and it seems that the main factor is if you were using any of Keurig’s coffee makers before or not. In case this is your first Keurig’s coffee maker, then chances are you’re going to like it.

Most users who were using some of Keurig’s products before seem to be disappointed that some of the older Keurig pods are incompatible with Keurig K350 2.0 brewing system.
Overall, this is a pretty quiet and fast coffee maker, which comes with many features. All you need to do is to follow the instructions and take good care of it.

Final Verdict

If we ignore the experiences of Keurig K350 version 1.0 users, Keurig K350 2.0 is more than a decent coffee maker. We’ve mentioned a few times in the article, Keurig K350 2.0 is a more versatile machine than most from its competition. Thus it can make a whole variety of drinks. Tea, Chai, or Mocha don’t make some special surprise, but iced beverages do.
